things i learned today

a bunker hill online course is only $240. this really rocks my world, as its less then half of a umass course.
i need to fill out an approval form at umass before signing up for the class. i'll be really unhappy if they tell me they won't take the credits.
my grade for abnormal psych isn't in yet (duh), but, the site now does on the spot degree audits.
mine was nice enough to tell me that i need 49 more credits to graduate, that i need to drop my declared CS minor, that i have 12 w's on my record (ouch!), and that the last english class that i took, though in the department of my major, doesn't figure into my major gpa because it doesn't fulfill any major requirements.
the last one is the most surprising. i'm can see the logic that's used, but i guess i just don't agree with it.

tonight, before heading up north, i will be a good kid & fill out the pre-approval form.
i'm very curious to see how long it will take for me to hear back.

lucky you... your school is tech savvy and mine isnt. degree audits online! nice! : ) 49 units isnt that much... thats what, a year and a half? : ) i hate my school and the lack of classes they are offering because of lame budget cuts. argh.
