(no subject)

so oddly enough, for an evening spent contemplating how unsatisfied i am with parts and wholes of my life, i am in a pretty good mood right now.
i just need a walking buddy.
or balls enough to walk around at night on my own. the unsafety of it strikes me too much in my old age.

the drive from NJ was an experience. the loaner car looks, feels and acts clunky and made me tense for the entirety of the ride. i just have to keep reminding myself how lucky i am to have it, and not be stranded totally carless. but overall the ride was uneventful, and is starting to fade from memory quickly, which is another good thing.
come to think of it, today was a decent day overall....
while in NJ, we went over my stepdad's cousin's house, who i like, and hung out, drank beer (i got nicely buzzed : ) ) and ate yummy food. somewhere amidst that, my stepdad and his cousin-in-law (who is a mechanic) checked out the loaner car, warned me not to drive it too fast cuz of the bald rear tires, and reaffirmed that the AC does not function. and then we looked at cars for sale on yahoo. so far, two possible maybe's, both of them nissans - i just hope something pans through soon.
then was the aforementioned ride, and then i went to ceremony.
which, guessing from my good mood now, i enjoyed : )
not many people were there... and i spent a lot of time just standing by myself and watching the dancefloor... but it was a good thing.

now, if only i could eat before going to bed : /

adding insult to injury is...

... having a flat tire on the loaner car this morning. the rear right tire, even.
i noticed when i was pumping gas on the way to work this morning.


luckily, i should be able to roll the thing to sears during lunch, and have it ready for when i get out of work.

and i'm either getting allergies or a cold : /

i'm feeling different today.

good	bad
walks ice cream possibly going to bed early car as running as it can be sorta-cooked today ate tofu today i think i needed to veg	didn't do laundry didn't get lightbulbs in bedroom replaced cancelled plans annoyances maybe catching a cold overstressing

and yeah, i should really get to bed soon. and plug in my phone & take a preemptive dose of nyquil, too...

PS. i think that its good that, without thinking, i put good before bad. and things in good column outnumber things in bad column : )
