i'm a dork

i went to bed eatly last night, as my sore throat was preventing me from doing much of anything, and having to drink continuously to keep it from being worse was getting annoying.
i think i slept pretty well - woke up a couple of times, once to stumble to the bathroom and back, and once when gaelen came home - and i can't remember which came first, which is probably a good sign.
and, for the first time in what seems like over a month, i had dreams that i could vaguely remember that were not unpleasant - i can't remember the contents at all by now, but i remember wanting to hurry back to bed to see if i can continue a dream when i got up, and that i was working the snooze button into my dream to keep from coming out in the morning.

allergies are still kicking my butt. i just took tylenol sinus and hopefully that will finish off what the claritin isn't helping with - at least i am fairly certain it won't make me loopy.

so yeah, the dorkyness - seeing that king of hearts is playing at the brattle next month made me all kinds of giddy this morning. its a movie i saw in my 10th grade english class, and something about it really struck me. i kept meaning to find it again and see it one more time, but never got around to it - now, i'll have to find willing victims to go with me to see it on the medium-screen (because, damnit, the brattle just isn't big screen).
something else i noticed on the calendar is delicatessen, which i've meant to see for years now and never have. yay!

and, meds - status report - unlike i thought, i'm slightly jittery/lightheaded from the claritin/tylenol sinus combo. less so then benadryl, and my sinuses are mostly under control. hrmph.

and this window has been open since morning; i might as well send it off...
