how the cookie crumbles
Oct. 11th, 2005 11:24 pmI took some time off of work today to get some of the car stuff settled - and had more misses then hits.
AAA here doesn't do their own auto loans, and while they had a good deal on insurance, I'd need a CA license first. Went to the DMV, but they need to see my passport first, which was at home. From there, to a credit union - which seems to be willing to give me a decent rate, but will need me to jump through several hoops tomorrow morning. The hoops? Well, between the number of errands and needing to talk to NStar again, I've been a wreck for more of the afternoon then not. I don't even know how to thank
sol3 anymore. And, to top it all off, dealing with this kind of stuff wears me out like almost nothing else, so the odds of me being up for going out tomorrow night are less then stellar. It's a good thing I really like this car.
