So I'm sorta back from my travels.
After Cape Cod, and then Boston and then Black Rock City, I'm back to sleeping in my own bed - and sometime, the kitty even snuggles me, which was super surreal when I first got back.
On the other hand, I'm barely unpacked from my travels, and having a house guest means I'm doing less to unpack then I normally would. And the current houseguest stays until Thursday & the next houseguest arrives on Sunday. Which isn't to say that I don't love me houseguests and would somehow forego having them near.
At this rate, I'll be swinging back to bay-area life close to October then anticipated, but what's an extra month, right? And right at this moment, I'm pleasantly buzzed from some margaritas and enjoying how the present seems as floaty as the future appears to be.
