Oct. 8th, 2002 12:56 pmso there wasn't any milk in the house yesterday, and i didn't end up going for a walk.
i did finish my week 3 homework, though, which means that tonight's agenda has me doing the week 4 readings and then going to blockbuster to return state and main and pick run, lola, run. if anyone wants to see that tonight or tomorrow night, let me know - i'm still really shaky about times because i don't know how long the reading will take and buffy has to fit into there : )
after that, i ended up going to bed early, which i think worked well because i drifted into sleep rather then crashing there. and gods do i love my down blanket in the wintertime. its old, and i feel bad when i let the cat knead on it, and i dread the day it dies.
had a bad dream about closet space at some point after the first alarm ringing. in the dream, there was a room with a structure to hang up clothing and my stuff was there. and then someone else moved my stuff and i was really angry... and then i realized that after my stuff was moved, lots of people had put their stuff there and the chances of me finding anything of mine were slim to none.
this, of course, comes from (a) not knowing what to wear as the seasons change and (b) the fact that i'll have a smaller closet next month and am unsure how i will be able to make all my stuff fit. *crosses fingers and hopes for the best*
earrings.
i stopped wearing earrings back in high school.
a few years ago, my mom gave me diamond studs to wear - earrings i wouldn't take off and earrings i didn't think i could lose. then, i lost one. and hadn't wore earrings again until about six months ago, when it felt kinda like the holes were craving to be filled. i borrowed a pair of her earrings for a bit, and then bought some cheapoid earrings of my own - earrings i definitely wouldn't mind losing.
well, i lost one on Saturday.
it happened right before i talked to my mom, who offered to bring me a pair of garnet studs back from israel (and i said no, because i wouldn't want to risk losing nice earrings). now, i don't think i would've said yes no matter what, but i found the riming amusing.
yesterday, i lost the other of the set. i noticed it falling off, but the backing was long gone and nowhere to be found. its almost the earrings reached their expiration date.
and can i just mention that people that call tech support would do well to actually listen to instructions tech support is giving them?! ...if they knew what they were doing, why would they have called me in the first place??
moreover, i have lunch plans. i've been on this call for over 20 minutes. if he keeps up his stupidity, he'll make me late *grumble*
