elvendollenglish breakfast + chamomile tea is making me very happy right now.
it also makes me wish i had the dedication to brew tea - in theory, i'd need a french-presstype thing, and 20 minutes per day to set it up... hopefully, maturity will catch up with me soon.
he went to a hardware store with me, and now i know what i'm looking for for shelving. next step would be making it out to home depot and picking up what i'll need, and recruiting help yet again to get the things installed.
also picked up a hanger-rack to put in my hallway for my myriads of coats, and made the tentative decision that a standing coat rack would work better for the living room.
still haven't made it to target.
still haven't done the writing portion of my homework either. the heat was just turnd on, so hopefully once the house heats up a bit, i can get some of it written.
i've also started reading vonnegut's cat's cradle
i've really been hyper-focussed on my brokeness. probably because aside from when i was in school and making $40 a week, i've never been this broke.
i also think that will lift a bit when i get the bill from getting the car worked on, because unless its going to be really bad, having a definite number is better then uncertainty.
i've come to realize that for the most part, i'm not a big fan of doing something alone. feeling like someone's there, with help and advice or just to make sure i don't fuck up too badly, is something i feel the absence of when i don't have it. and its something that feels so rooted in me its hard, emotionally, to classify that as a fault.
i'm still at a bit of a loss about closet space. he said there's things at costco that will work for me, but i'm hesitant to spend money on something that looks too temporary even for my taste...
and i had more i wanted to write, but then i got sidetracked....
