i think in the morning, speaking in fragments works best for me...
i got a grade on the quarter-assed homework assignment - C+. and i'm happy about this. this was a "unit project" and i spent under an hour on it. i definitely didn't deserve anything higher and anything lower then a C+ would make me worry about the paper i have to write this week. overall, the worst case scenario would have been a "do-over" and that didn't happen. yay!
next, i have to write a 1500 word essay on a movie of my choice. i'm thinking the thin red line because i remember really liking it, but don't remember too many details from it and so have been wanting to see it again, and i think its got the right combination of simplicity and complexity to make the paper flow easily. and then, i'm school-free for at least 3 weeks *bounce*
still need to pop into school to register for the winter course. i'm kinda less then thrilled i wasn't able to do that on my last trek out there... mostly because i think the umass parking fees are exorbitant and hate paying them.
had a cute almost-surprise for me in the car this morning - the insides of my water bottle were frozen. i guessed that that would be the case when leaving the house, but i'm still less then thrilled about it. sometimes my throat acts up to the point that i can't stop coughing until i drink something, and i'm really bad about remembering to bring anything with me when leaving the house in the morning (its a lot of why i don't do bagged lunches).
and there was more i wanted to write, but it didn't happen...
