so i ened up going out to manray last night.
it was really empty, and even when it filled up a bit, the signal to noise ratio was still low.
alcohol and plotting against [livejournal.com profile] jedi helped pass the time, though...
i got home, ran back out to rescue [livejournal.com profile] jedi and [livejournal.com profile] goat, came back, and was then up till 5 am riding out the alcohol and red bull still in my system. luckily, i was able to spend the time in [livejournal.com profile] mortis' room.

i woke up to my phone ringing.
i looked at the clock, saw that it was almost noon and panicked - thought it was work calling because i had overslept.
slowly, reality set in and i remembered its a weekend. it was [livejournal.com profile] tobi, letting me know people wanted to come over for brunch. yay! i love brunches, and i really enjoyed this one.

since everyone left i've been putzing around online and cleaning the house.
i've got to sweep the common rooms still, and then that'll be done. and laundry should be ready by the time i'm done with that.

and i am incredibly torn on what to do tonight. like much moreso then is reasonable.
a part of that is because i'm menstrual.
a part of that is because i'm intimidated by the class i'm starting on monday, feel like my social/carefree time will come to an end tomorrow night and really want to do both things i could do tonight and have a hard time accepting how mutually exclusive they are.
at least i'm done being angry over it - now i'm just feeling really torn and confused.

oh, and my dream before i was woken up was that i woke up and had shirley temple curls.
at first, it was really messy and stood in an afro of sorts, but then i started arranging it and it looked incredibly cute. and i kept seeing people and having to explain that i didn't perm my hair, that i just woke up and it was curly. i'm really sad it was just a dream.
and i think i know why i had it - i'm going to (semi-permenantly) dye my hair soon. well, hopefully. but this is the first time i've really been determined to dye my hair in an other-then-reddish-highlights way. [livejournal.com profile] kittypie told me about the dye she's using, and for the first time, something just went click in me, while before i've been pretty adamant about not dying my hair. with all luck, i'll actually get this done sometime soon.
