the good, the bad and the ugly...
May. 16th, 2003 01:54 pm...in reverse order.
the ugly: i smashed my passenger side rearview last night. it was a brilliant move, considering the fact that i'm broke.
the bad: i feel very burnt out. i know pms is exaggerating it, but i'm definitely there.
sol3 pointed out that i've been taking classes each semester/session for a year, which means that i haven't had more then a week between classes in a year.
the good: a combination of the above has lead me to decide to drop my first session summer class. i'll have 7 whole weeks after turning in my paper to relax, have my afternoons, enjoy my weekends without guilt, do personal reading and maybe a project that i thought up back in london, and generally feel myself again before going back to school. plus, i'll be spending $500 less on tuition.
that said, my financial situation is still incredibly bleak.
and i still don't have anything half-solid for the paper. a part of me is sure i'll pull something out of my ass and another part is scared shitless and wants to panic any moment now. nofun.

Date: 2003-05-16 11:05 am (UTC)I think it's great that you've been so motivated and working so hard. It's also good not to burn yourself out, so it's probably a good idea you're also taking time to enjoy yourself. I've always had a lot of admiration for people who work full time and go to school. It doesn't leave you with any time unless you make it.
