1. definitely Tinkerbell..she shows more skin than Peter ;) More skin = more better

2. none..she just happens to be Peter Pan's fairy

3. Elves don't have wings.

so if i put together a fairy costume, i could say i'm tinkerbell?
is there any way to be a fairy that is distinctly tinkerbell?

tinkerbell. i think you'd make a better mischievous fairy than boy who never grows up.

tinkerbell is a fairy, just as you are a human. tinkerbell would be a certain outfit and attitude.

elves don't have wings. i think fairys are typically pictured as being pretty small.

It this repetitious enough yet?

Tinkerbell. You have too nice of curves to be peter pan.

2. whats the difference between tinkerbell and just a fairy?
Tinkerbell is a fairy, not every fairy is tinkerbell.

3. whats the difference between an elf and a fairy?
Size (fairies are smaller), wings (elves don't have them), and magical ability (fairies are VERY magical and rely on it, while elves often rely on more mundane things like bows and arrows).

tinkerbell has blonde hair and pink wings (and I think a green outfit)

but she's sexy as hell, so, one out of four works

peter pan is out of the question, unless you want to look like a robinhood who's used up all his arrows. but that's just my take on peter pan. :-) why all this flying business?

hmmm... i don't know if i've even heard of peter pan in russian... but i'll ask my parents.
wow, fantasy themed costume party.. sounds enchanting :-) i haven't been to a costume party in what seems like years... since haloween parade at least... take pictures! (and bring fairy dust...)

1. Peter Pan. No idea why, it just jumped into my head and hey- I think you'd look great in green tights! :P
2. I'm not sure... she does seem to be some rather specific type of faerie.
3. I think of elves the way Tolkein portrays them - tall, slender athletic woods dwellers with pointy ears. Faeries, to my mind, come in a lot more variety of shapes and sizes, some winged, some not, etc.

it used to be one of my favorites when i was much younger, and at some point, i home-taped a soundtrack of it. a few months ago, [livejournal.com profile] zerokey converted the tape to CD - so i fgured if thats something you listened to, you might be interested in the mp3's...

i'm all about themed parties!
luckily, my friends are, too, so there's always a sizeable in-costume turnout - its just a matter of picking themes that people can scrape outfits for, as you can't expect people to go shopping for each party.

the last themed party i hosted (not counting halloween, as there's no theme to the costumes) was a glow in the dark party, and with 10 blacklights, some tide and some highlighters, it was definately a success (unfortunately, it didn't lend well to pictures)

i think [livejournal.com profile] nymphochka killed the peter pan idea dead. she might've permanently scarred me in the process, too...

1. Tink
2. Tink is a fairy, as Puff is a Dragon. I think there is just the one.
3. An Elf is a woodland spirit (typically, yes, a fairy) native to Northern Europe (Scandinavia and England, down to Germany and France). Blame the Vikings, and their Alfheim (Land of the Elves, natch). The Norse had a whole sky gods defeating the earth gods (Aesir v. Vanir) theme that was somewhat Greek, but I digress. Anyway, fairies are typically specific nature spirits, of which an Elf is one type, found the world over. I can't think of any culture that doesn't have some (fairies, not elves).

I'm almost certain that it's not what you're looking for, but I just had to share this page, since they have "tinkerbell" designs. Sort of, anyway! :D
