the weekend

after getting out of work on Friday, i went to pick up hawver, dropped back to my house to pick up the cooler and some random stuff i had forgotten to pack the night before, and then drove up to NH to meet up with tobi & network to camp.
finding the campground was a little bit of an adventure, finding our site there a little more of an adventure, but once we got there, setting up went fairly smoothly.
then, there was time by the campfire, bedtime, breakfast, laying around, swimming, a little bit of reading, a boat ride, more campfire, naptime, groggytime and waytoomuchsleeptime. and then breakfast, packing up, second breakfast, drive back, being evil in a hallway, dealing with one half of the mess nature left on my tent, and dinner and time with sol3.

an annoying bit - i'd been contemplating trying the pill patch since it came out. i know myself well enough to know i really can't take a pill at around the same time every day, especially now that i'm working a somewhat flex schedule. the last time i mentioned it to a dr, i was shrugged off. this past time, i got a prescription. and i filled it. and i went back to webmd to see if i could stick the thing to my back, and noticed that it says to consult with dr. if you have blood clots in your legs. red light. i have a 'little friend'; little friend is on my right thigh, and has been since i was about sixteen. he's gotten a little bigger with time, but dr's have always shrugged me off when i've asked about him. also, he's not there all the time. he sinks below skin level for months on end, but will then pop back up, in the same old spot. sometimes, he's faint and pink. sometimes, he's bright red, like he's about to start dripping. and most of the time, he's a dark red, like drying blood.
so, now i've got to snag out-of-office business-time to talk to the dr's, and find out what to do, which is making me stressy right now because it has only popped up once in the past few months, and its barely visible right now.

and i decided to be bright, and go to the school's bookstore site, to see if i can sniff out which plays we're reading before eyeing the syllabus - no luck, the teacher's expecting us to buy a comp book, $50 used, almost 80 new. yeah, that's going to happen. *knocks on wood in hope to be able to get away with reading individual plays from cheap and light individual books*

and yeah, class tonight. with all luck, i'll be more thrilled about it tonight then i am right now, because right now, i want to go home and struggle to force myself to do the laundry that really needs to be done, room-tidying and then the rest of the house. i have no hope of motivating myself to do that stuff after getting home around 9.
