lets recap:

in the beginning of the week, i expressed these positive thoughts: that our showerhead works much better then any other anyone has brought home, and that i'm happy my car hasn't had to have any emergence maintenance in the 2+ years i owned it.

Tuesday morning, the showerhead wouldn't get water pressure. i tried 4 or 5 times, i unscrewed it and rescrewed it in at least twice. i ran water from the shower without the showerhead screwed in, and enough water came out. i made a feeble attempt at cleaning the showerhead - nada. no shower for me.
later in the afternoon, [livejournal.com profile] gaelen came home, tried the shower, and it worked fine.

Monday afternoon, about to drive back to work from lunch, i notice a small puddle of a thick, red something under the left rear side of my car. i didn't see any dribbling and dismissed it. the next morning, the snow under/around my car was pink. i took this as a definitive sign that my car is leaking red fluid and took it to the shop this morning.
according to the shop, my brake pads are worn (which is weird, because i had new ones put in this summer), and the car is leaking oil.
now, i've known that my car has a minor oil leak - most camry's do, and its no big deal. and oil isn't red.
but, according to them, that's all that's leaking.
i'm just going to assume my car has 'showerhead syndrome', pay the $60, hope for the best and have the family-member mechanic look at it whenever i make it home next.
