elvendollso, i'm a total moron.
the list of things that i forgot:
-zipper sweater that i wear all the time
-towel
-travel alarm clock to wake up for my flight back
-copies of my passport (but there may be some in my car from amsterdam)
and the scary thing is, only the first one was on my 'to take' list - i know i should know better by now, this is just proof that i've been nuts lately.
now, i got in, showered (the nice hostel people gave me a clean towel!) and have sent off the 'i'm here safe emails'; next is exploring the neighborhood around the hostel, finding the supermarket, getting food, cooking and eating it. yeah.
