Aug. 16th, 2004 05:03 pmi'm having an 'ug' morning.
i didn't get anywhere on my homework after last night's post, which means i'm feeling incredibly behind.
i had an amazingly disturbing dream overnight, and i'm still working off the anxiety from it - i really can't remember the last time i had a dream that shook me this much.
i'm having a hard time focussing on work, which is really bad, because the last thing i need is more stress.
how cold it is here is really starting to upset me to the point of interfering with my productivity. being cold makes me uncomfortable and angsty and that's no way to spend 8 hours a day. i think my next step is to bring in a thermostat to keep on my desk, so that i can know whether i'm being extra sensitive or if the temperature is really falling below 68/70.
and i know i can bring in an electric blanket or space heater, but i really want that to be a last resort measure, because i think a part of my problem is that i keep myself too bundled to allow myself to get used to cold, and extra heaters are likely to heat me to above 72 or so and perpetuate the problem.
(hours later)
for the first time probably ever, i managed to forget both my phone and my wallet at home today. and it was doubly annoying because my phone's antenna broke yesterday and i was going to try and either get it fixed or get a replacement phone.
and, it's almost time to get out of here and plunge into the mess of homework.
