if i don't think about work or school, i'm doing pretty well right now. this is ironic in a lot of ways, because it's always felt like work was the most consistently stable thing in my life while school and social anxiety duked it out for being the cause of most insecurity.
in a lot of ways, i've been less social in the last few weeks then ever (not counting intense school points), but i'm also feeling very okay with it - the constant whisper of but if they aren't pinging me to hang out, it probably means they don't like me is mostly gone. a part of me is worried that this seemingly healthy change is stemming from an unhealthy place - but that's for another entry.

last night, hawver and i went to the ME for a bite after work, which was bad $$-wise but probably good overall, as i would've had cereal for dinner if i'd been left to my own devices. next week, i'm definitely getting back on the cook-a-bucket-of-food-once-a-week plan.

when i came home, i got good news from forloren regarding his talk with goat; it's up to you to guess the meaning of this.
then, i putzed around online until the debate started.
the debate was painful, but i'm glad i watched it. now, i'm just left baffled by people that think bush won it.
after that, i putzed around until the beer-buzz left me and went to read and sleep. i'm 20 pages from finishing my current book, and it's a little frustrating to be taking so long with it, but between starting reading when it's already past my bedtime and reading slower because i'm tired, i'm just hoping to finish it by the end of next week. after that, i'll have a school book to read before bed, too.
