elvendollthe bad news from this weekend is that i didn't get any schoolwork done.
the good news, however, are that i had a really good time at a party on Friday night. i got a bit more intoxicated then expected, enjoyed my very first game of twister, really liked spending time with the people i spent time with and was a little overzealous with my nails. to prove to me that i really needed a night like that, my body/brain found motivation on Saturday afternoon and i spent 2-3 hours cleaning the common areas.
i didn't end up making it to yoga - i took too long getting out of bed, putzing online, etc, left for yoga class, actually walked into the studio, and realized that with how late i was and how full the room was, that i should just turn around and head out. without a way to get back into![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sol3's, i went back to my house, laptop-less, which was prolly a good thing. and, in an 'everything works out for the best' sort of way, it was figured out later that sol3 was confused about what time my class was, and if i had gone to class and then back to his place, as was the plan, i would've been waiting there for a half hour or so before he got home.
i did end up going there for a few hours to chill and spend time together, and then back home to try (and fail) to cook up some evening plans. instead, i got a full night's sleep, which isn't something to shake a stick at either. while atsol3's, conversation about what i should wear next weekend led to him giving me my new year's present early - he got me a really great dress that i can't wait to wear out, and may post pictures of before then : )
on Sunday, there was brunch withtafkar, a quick run to star market (and we are now stocked up on detergent for the next 6 months or so), way too much vegging, and a couple of loads of laundry.
the good part of that is that i found the BM stuff that i'd forgotten on the back porch and washed it, and the bad news is that my ski pants have developed some yellow stains i want to get rid of - only i've yet to successfully bleach out stains.
overall, i had a really good weekend. this week is going to be fairly busy and the weekend even busier, but i tend to like busy, so it's all good.
