elvendollquiet Friday night.
i pinged someone about hanging out and never heard back, and i'm totally weird about trying to ping another person before getting a definite answer. i probably need the sleep anyway.
it's been a good visit so far.
the pants i got for abby (i should really start spelling her name correctly, shouldn't i?) in france fit her really well and she liked them more then she's liked anything else i've gotten her - which makes me really happy.
not only am i still part of the family, but she seems to have lost what barriers she had up a couple of months ago - now she'll totally let me tickletorture her, and even asked for it once.
she also let me comfort her when debbie upset her once, let me supervise her shower and let me put lotion on her in exchange for 5 minutes of playing ball (she has really dry skin & seems too hate lotion).
tomorrow, with all luck, i will get to sleep in and putz around for a while. unfortunately, i'm so used to having my homework stuff in my backpack all the time that i totally spaced putting it back there before the trip.
then, i have a couple of family-obligated stops and will hopefully be going to a movie with debbie after those - she's scared of seeing ring two and we'll prolly end up seeing hitch
this week has totally blown by.
on monday, i went back to the optometrist and walked out with a stronger lens in my left eye - i think i'm still adjusting, as my vision feels rather off, but it also feels like it's been getting better with time. tonight will be night 3 or 4 of sleeping with the contacts in.
when i got back home, i found myself incapable of picking something to eat, which left me skipping silks practice : (
tuesday night was class, and then meeting up with someone new at singularity, and i think both went well. it was a little sad to see how empty singularity ended up being.

sol3 went to yoga with me, then we popped into diesel for a while and headed back to his place to watch collateral. the movie was pretty well done if you ignore the most important plot hole, but unfortunately, it did very little good for the overwhelmed mood i was in. prolly still better then talk to her would've been - though i do want to see that soon.
and last night i drove here.
