last night, i realized a reason my room has been so hot and humid lately - the storm windowpane in one of my windows won't stay up, so i have 0 circulation in there. the heat really doesn't bother me much, except that i prefer sleeping under a heavy blanket, but the humidity has really been hitting me - i haven't slept well in a week or two. i've been up way past my bedtime every night this week and i was monstrously late to work this morning *sigh*

just now, i realized that it's not really that i'm feeling overwhelmed by everything - i am a bit overwhelmed, but i'm also feeling spread way too thin. there's so much pulling at me right now, and i don't have enough focus to get any one thing to feel okay.
i didn't study on Monday because i'd promised an x-coworker to join her for sendoff drinking - and considering what happened that day, i needed the booze. i got home and cleaned up a little, but not nearly enough.
on Tuesday, i skipped silks because of the super-period, which ended up feeling better by 7:30, and then i stayed out till 10 drinking with coworkers. it was good, i just wish i'd had two clones, one for silks and one for studying.
yesterday, i stayed home from yoga to clean, and [livejournal.com profile] goat and i got the house to the point where it no longer looks like a tornado (it was a brunch, really) hit - though i'm afraid that was more her then me. i then skipped out on going to [livejournal.com profile] sol3's because i was moody and just putzed at the house while keeping an eye on the foodlab meeting. in the end, i think it was really good for me to get a solid chunk of time at home.
tonight is going to be packing craziness i'm afraid, and more of that tomorrow. have i mentioned that by now, i just want a weekend at home?

i don't know how or when i'm going to get the shit i need done finished and it's very far from a pleasant feeling.
i'm also incredibly lucky that [livejournal.com profile] goat, [livejournal.com profile] sol3 (and anyone else that comes into contact with me, really) have been so patient and understanding.

on a different note, my breakfast today was yogurt with soy granola - still sweet, supposedly healthy, tasted good but left me still hungry. hrmph.

i got it at trader joes - i've never had straight granola before, but it seems to taste like i think granola should and had 10g of protein per half a cup.
