I had a bad workday on Friday that ended on a somewhat good note - a client admitting that they messed up and they don't care how long it takes us to make the appropriate changes - which doesn't help too much in the grand scheme of things but made me feel a little better.
After feeling all kinds of punchy all day, I decided going home wouldn't be the best idea and headed straight for [livejournal.com profile] sweetbaboo's after staying late and enjoyed decent chinese and good beer with good company.
From there, I went to MR and had a very decent night; got to see [livejournal.com profile] pir and spend time with [livejournal.com profile] maighread, [livejournal.com profile] jedi, [livejournal.com profile] hawver and others. For the first time in what seems like ages, I got pleasantly sploshed (with huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] maighread for driving me home!) and just had a very easy time alternating between being social and dancing.
On Saturday, I woke up a bit hungover, and got some minimal room cleaning done before [livejournal.com profile] pir came by, and we spent most of the rest of the day cuddled up.
Yesterday had a yummy brunch, dropping [livejournal.com profile] pir off at logan and doing homework for most of the rest of the day. The original plan was to go to a coffee shop to make sure I concentrate, but I ended up staying at home and doing a half-decent job; sadly, I'm very horribly behind and being a slow reader doesn't help one bit. I have no clue how I'll finish it all on time : /
Because it was a Sunday, I couldn't quite do homework all evening long and took a break to chill with the roommates and watch an episode of six feet under
