This cold is really starting to get to me. I no longer feel like I have a fever or fatigued, but the yuck has shifted down from my sinuses into my throat. Gargling with salt water should not be part of conference call prep, damnit!
And, though I can't hear what my voice sounds like to others, it sounds totally fucked up to me - and [livejournal.com profile] sol3 confirms the weirdness isn't all inside my head.

I've been doing the right thing - staying home, drinking lots of liquids, getting enough sleep. I was really hoping to be rid of it by this morning.
Now, I'm not sure what to do about tonight's yoga class - a part of me really wants to go, and a part doesn't want to stress out my system any more then the cold already is.

I've just won a battle with my school - but still seem to be on the losing end of the war. They finally added a waitlist for the psych class I've been trying to get into (and, not even half a day later, there's a person behind me on the list!), but that's no guarantee that I'll actually get in. Especially since I need to know by the 15th, when the Spanish class I'd otherwise be taking starts.

Generally speaking, though, between the pre-holiday craziness, the holidays and this cold, I'm feeling a little out of sync with life. Here's hoping that the cold fades soon and I'll get to swing back into gear.

if you can breathe through your nose and have energy you should go to yoga. so long as you stay hydrated and the class you take isn't too aggressive for your fitness level it will likely do you good rather than harm.
