I haven't had a paid account in a year or two now because the idea of sending money to SixApart just didn't sit well with me. Now, I might have a paid account again soon!
The commercial accounts mess was going on when I first decided not to send them my money, then there's been the fantasy-linked deletions and the current age-tag things - I can see where they were coming from on all of those, but their attitude & implementation of them doesn't sit well with me. On a general note, LJ was a community thing when it first began, and SixApart showed no interest in respecting that when they took over.
