it does feel like real spring is just around the corner : )
only makes me scared of what this (cold) weekend is going to be like...

but yeah... spring is almost here & i'm near giddy over it! all these things that i am looking forward to for the summer are circling around my head - like the beltaine trip, the trip to montreal, hopefully going camping/kayaking in maine again, visiting my parents while they're at the cape..
and just being able to go outside and romp around, damnit!
yeah!

this morning was an odd one... it was wicked cold in the room all night, and again, i awoke around 4, this time out of cold. i tried hard to snuggle up against bill, close my eyes & slip away again, but it took longer then i'd hoped...
then, when bill's alarm started going off, i started feeling like my 6th grade year... then, i'd have to get up a little before 5am, eat breakfast & shower all by myself, and then go to the bus-stop at the end of the block. and during that spring, because i was out so early, it'd still always be cold, but i'd try guess by the smell outside and the way the sun felt on my skin whether or not it would be a warm day or not. and somehow today felt like that again. definately odd/nifty...

and today is going well for me so far : ) world is moving at a calmer pace, and i'm really appreciating it : ) kinda wish it'd be possible to spend some time tromping about outside while its still warmish out, but such is not my lot. i think i have to say that the one day i got to go take pictures at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum for work is the best workday i've ever had :)

blah.
i need to get little gnomes.
our rooms at home are way too messy and the thought of needing to clean that when i get home is just not pleasant : (
c'est la vie though... it could always be worse right?
(i just hope i don't end up regrettting i ever said that!!)
