elvendolli think its one thing to go without net access for around 24 hours if you're busy or having fun. its a totally other thing if its right there, cable and all, but someone is preventing you from being able to use it. last goddamn time i come here without a laptop!
but now that thats out of the way, i've had a decent time here...
got in thursday night and stayed up till like 3am talking to my mom : )
then, woke up early to work from home - i forgot how nice it is to not deal with customers for a whole day! : ) (thank you, ged!)
unfortunately, the computer crashed a 5:30 and i didn't get back to it before it got locked up (see previous rant), and am just back on now...
debbie was actually behaving last night, so we got along well. even fell asleep cuddled on the couch together : )
and abi is amazing as always... she tries to say my name and comes out with something throaty that reselmbles "oolya" : ) but she doesn't need adjustment time to me, either...
i also got to see all the grandparents last night, which was cool, as they were all being nice (my maternal grandparents are always amazing, but spepdad's parents can be touch & go sometimes) grandparents also said that they want to help me with $ for the car - need to discuss this further when i go over their house tomorrow...
today was a funky day. i didn't get up till 3pm because the clock in the basment was all screwed up. it is like 4 hours ahead, so i kept waking up and forcing myself to go back to sleep out of thinking that its early... and have spent the rest of the day just hanging around (thats what happens here on a satuday when you forget your book at home). debbie has been an absolute pain today, too : /
but - onto the part i'm most excited about - i love the way the car looks! and as toyotas don't require much care, it is in pretty good condition inside - i just need the oils changed, and i should be all set to go. i can't wait to get to drive it tomorrow!! : )
the only downer is that we totally forgot that it needed to get inspected on friday, and in NJ you can get free inspections at the inspection stations that are open M-F or pay $70 to do it at a gas station, and i need mine done tommorrow...
something i was thinking about yesterday - i can get pretty passive-agressive. mostly towards people i spend a lot of time around, like roomates. i realize this as a problem and try to fight it as much as possible. lately, i have had a tendency to really resent other people for being passive agressive - even in situations that don't involve me. and what i can't figure out is if that resentment is justified, or if i am being ultra-sensitive to that trait in others because its something i don't like in myself...
