elvendolli am putting effort into being in a good mood : )
and kira was definitely helping : ) i so wish we could talk/chat more often! but, knowing she's got her plane tickets out here is making me all giddy : ) and of course, its so damn appropriate that when i told her she should see lantana (the movie i saw last night), she tells me she's already seen it : )
overall, life seems to be on a bit of an upswing...
it looks like there's good chance i will get to take the class i posted about earlier - which makes me really happy : )
after staring at it for a while, i realized its a 200-level course, which means it doesn't fulfill any requirements, but a good grade in it would push my major gpa (currently 3.49) well into departmental honors eligibility (which is 3.5), and, if it goes well, i'll prolly take an evening psych class second session.
*two and two makes four*
which means my trip to europe (prague or amsterdam) will definitely need to wait until early fall - but i'm cool with that - i'll need to be majorly watching my cashflow as it is...
speaking of cashflow, i think i've decided to put off getting a new cellphone for a while - just need to get to a full verizon store to see if i can get a new battery, and learn to stop bitching about how sucky it is..
on the other hand, i am thinking of using what tax refunds i get to get a new pc. i'd really like something better, and i found a place i can get what i want for just over $500... *crossing fingers that prices won't go up in the next month or two*
among other good news is that my stepdad finally found a job! i only found out yesterday (when he started), but i am really happy for him : ) its actually a contract he was being promised for a rather long time, we just stopped hoping it would pan through, and its at a place he's worked before, so there's a good chance they will keep him for a while, or take him on as a perm.
and i had a bunch more i wanted to write about, but my thoughts ran into the bills i've been procrastinating opening, and i should really do that now : /

And while you're at it, let me see about upgrading your current computer instead of buying a whole new one. It could be cheaper.
i can show you where i'm thinking of getting it - for what i want, its coming out really damn cheap, and without the hassle of making sure all the components like each other...
