dreams are weird.
sometimes, i wake up and remember what i was dreaming about... and most of the time, i don't - it actually goes through phases. but sometimes, i'll wake up, go on with my day, and something random will trigger the memory of a dream.

last night's dream involved going to a woodsy area in an open-top car, with some really funky/fucked up animals. they had smooth, cream-colored skin, were overly elongated and had point noses. almost like a skinny, cream-colored land-seal (actually, kinda like over-sized and over-elongated mole-rats). and there were a lot of mushrooms around, but i couldn't remember for sure (within the dream) whether they were edible.
then going to the supermarket to be ditched by the person i went with, but that was ok, because i was really into getting what i needed there (don't remember what) and kept seeing people i know.
coming back to my parents' house (which isn't my parents house, nor were theymy real parents) and talking on the phone to two people i know in passing in the scene, as they both ended up calling my line by accident, but then decided to go into their life problems anyways.
and then it rained and snowed. and it rained and snowed so much to much that the parking lot in the back of the building was half covered by snow, and half was a puddle so deep that cars were getting fully submegred crossing it. and i was trying to say i'm not going anywhere, because the concept ofbeing submerged while in my car was flipping me out, but my parents kept pointing to cars that were coming through successfully. then, this white corvette tries to cross and can't (because it has the wrong-wheel drive) and the owner of it ends up needing to swim out. and i guess this person wasn't liked by my family because 'my brother' was scheming to use some laser-light-like-thing to etch a threat into one of the car's windows, and i was telling him how stupid that would be to no avail.

and now that i'm awake, the idea of being in my car & submerged is still bothersome.
