i was actually trying to take a picture of debbie to give context to



but abi doesn't smile for the camera very often, so she looks like she's the main focus of that picture.

after that, abi was playing with her toys



and i decided to get under the coffee table to get a shot...



after a couple of pictures like that, abi noticed me and followed me under the coffee table.. and then back out as i backed away from her:

then, debbie decided that abi-under-the-coffee-table is cute, which lead to



and eventually



...i think abi started doubting her safety right about the time the picture was taken, and got out...
debbie decided to stay under the coffee table, and i think



is adorable : )



thats abi on her dad's shoulder, and her cousin on his dad's shoulders. i think its sort of scary that my stepdad is starting to look his age - i remember him getting carded when i was like 17 or so...

and i finally got a cute picture of my mom:



my grandfather convinced her to sit still for the picture by telling her the kipa looked really cute on her (it did, it just didn't really make it into the picture)

the weekend also featured a neat little bonding moment between my mom, my grandfather & me as i caught the two of them sneaking away for a smoke-break and joined them. its just very amusing that my grandfather thinks its cute that we went for a smoke break together, and that he offers me a whole cigarette when i ask to take a grag off of his...
