i had a really weird dream this morning...
it involved having a knife knick my throat (due to someone less then competent showing off their martial art skills), explaining to someone why i'm not nice, having a goofy conversation with him, walking around with her and running into k., who, according to the dream, is all done with her masters work, and having totally random stuff spill out of my purse.
and for some reason, all this was interesting enough to keep hitting snooze and staying in bed too late.

last night was pretty mellow. him and a. were in town, as we met for ethiopian food... which is always good, but much better at the place by the cyclorama.
walked home, hung out for a few minutes while bill said hi to the cat & then they left...
i spent the evening switiching between the monitor and the tube. did a lot of searching for vacation stuff, and it looks like a really exciting itinerary is starting to come together. i 'm really looking forward to it solidifying : )
sunday was a mellow day, too... started with a nice brunch at her house, and then a trip to the galeria, and eventually seeing signs.
i gotta say that when i don't know about them in advance, festivals in my neighborhood suck. if i know ahead of time, i just make a point of not driving around on the days... sunday, though, i had no clue, and it took me around 20 minutes to get a mile away from my house. and later on, having forgotten about it, a quarter of a mile down a side street would've been faster walking. but, toscanini's makes amazingly yummy belgian chocolate shakes, and it looks like there's at least one coffee drink he now likes : )
and i liked signs. there were definately ways to nitpick it, but overall i really liked the pacing and the cinematography.

and it looks like i can't form a coherent train of thought today.
worse things happen, right?

*nods about Signs* I had a urge to nitpick it when I saw it, but like you said it had enough working for it to be entertaining. It was surprisingly funny too. I kinda like the fact it had faith as a point behind it without walking into getting too bibilical so it could be applied to any faith or belief structure.
