Nov. 22nd, 2002 11:42 amall considering, this is the best morning i've had all week. even though i slept for around 8 hours last night, i still had a bitch of a time getting up this morning. the room was so nice & dark, and my blankets were to nice & warm...
random stuff going through my head:
i really need to make sure i drop into school next week to hand them $5. its ridiculous, but it needs to be done.
i need to recalculate my finances. i've been skirting the line of broke for the past 5 months and each time i thought i was pushing my head above the water, something i'd been forgetting about jumped out and bit me. this time, i want to be sure, because as its looking right now, i might be able to pay for the winter session course myself instead of taking my mom up on her offer to pay for it.
and i still have to look into the payment options at harvard extension - unfortunately, there's no way i can shell out a whole grand in one month... and the holiday season specifically.
i'm still trying to get used to not being able to afford everything i want. in theory, i need to go shopping for long sleeved shirts. i only have two that i still wear on the regular basis - the rest are ... just not something i'd wear daily anymore. my clothing style is just evolving, i guess. but, if i were i to do that, i'd plunge me back into the grey zone.
and i really want a new digital camera. really want. but i'm making myself wait till june. hopefully, nothing big and moneysucking will come up then like the tuneup/timing belt change this year. it really sucked to amass $500 in birthday presents and have it all disappear without a fun toy in return.
i really need to take my car to a dealership to get some scrapes painted over before all this damn rain makes them rusty. i just can't seem to get my butt into gear about that...
also need to get my butt in gear about homework. if i watch ghost dog, do the week 10 readings and see american grafitti by next wednesday, i'll be right on schedule. its not a huge amount of work, but it'll take some effort to sit my butt down for it. then, on the plane rides, i plan to do the bulk of the next project. its somewhat exciting and really intimidating all at the same time. luckily, i'll be seeing her, as she seems to be the one person i can show such things to...
also need to start setting firm plans with people. i so can't wait to see them all!
yeah : )
and other stuff. but i don't feel like writing about it now.
