elvendolli'm groggy.
i thought i had overslept this morning because the baby alarm clock was showing 9:40 when i looked at it ( i did the setting the alarm for PM thing last night : / ), and rushed around to get out the door - only to realize, when i'm all ready, that its 8:40 and i was semi on time. cool.
looks like my laptop won't ship until the 30th, so, with all luck, it will get here by the 7th. yay
also, after he kinda got her what i was planning to, i needed to scramble for find her something, but i think i found something good : )
and his present is in, as is abi's, but the dvd player or the dvd for debbie are not here yet, and considering UPS hasn't even entered the tracking number into their system yet, i'd say the odds of it arriving today are zil to none. and my family's are the only gifts i need today. hrmph.
found out last night that in VT, all 5 of us will be sharing a room.
in the daytime, that shouldn't be a problem at all, but in the evening? abi's bedtime is typically by 10 at the latest and she's used to having her own room. i'm also curious if i could find anything on my bookshelf that's kosher for an 11 year old, because in order for me to get reading time, abi and debbie need to be not pestering me.
this should be interesting.
i think i'm hitting an "i don't feel like sharing" phase.
the impulse isn't strong, so i doubt it will last long - i just noticed that its been a while since i actually wrote what i've been up to. & actually, there's been a few times when i've started entries, got distracted, looked back on what i'd written, said "fuck it" and closed the client.
shit happens.
and, i actually wanted to write more, but i'm getting sent home early : )
