both better and worse

elvendolltoday is definately a better day.
i just drank water in class... no coffee, no scone, and survived and stayed awake, though i did come close to dosing off a few times.
the class is interesting and i enjoy watching the films.
the two pojects are intimidating, and the fact that the professor is being vague about what needs to be done for which one isn't helping. i'm debating emailing him tomorrow - i think everyone else is just as confused, but i have a feeling i'm the only one there with a full time job and no chance to do the stuff last minute. and he acts like a wicked easy grader, too. its just hard to break through that "but noone else in the class has questions" silence.
i got home ok tonight.
stopped into trader joes on the way home & stocked up on some food, came back here, made enough ravioli for dinner & to take with me to eat before class tomorrow (if i remember it) and then sat down to do the homework.
and i saw the reading.
pages and pages of scanned text in PDF files.
if it was clear text, staring at the screen for that long would be hard for me. but, its scanned, blurry and choppy, pages. i didn't even try. i don't know what i'm going to do.
but, the fact that i'm functioning ok is really encouraging. and i'm so looking forward to the weekend.
and i feel weird not having much but school to write about... but, between work and school, i'm feeling fried-extra-crispy - even the one page assignments are taking me much longer then they should.

altho, i definitely don't get any more rest than i did then! i guess some things don't ever change.

scarily enough, i do miss school when i'm not taking classes at all. i do think taking a winter course is rather insane and will avoid doing so again, especially if i'm still working.
on a good note, though, i will be out on friday night, and hope to find a very pleasant state of inebriation to counter all this work/school stuff i've been doing : )
