one is by berkovsky (who is a friend of my grandfather's) about the boys that went to fight in ww2
and the last one is utomlyonnoya solntsem, which is an old song used in the burnt by the sun soundtrack, and the movie (and now, song) do a lot to pull me towards my great-grandfather (who was killed in the purges)

Yulia, The Russian Spy, That Meowing Noise.
2. What song makes you think of me, and why?
Most anything by Dead Can Dance. You introduced them to me and they'll always remind me of you.
3. If you could give me one present, what would it be?
A hulking chrome and red mechanical body suit that would make you 12' tall and give you amazing hydrolic powered strength.
...mostly because I just think you'd look really cute smashing things up, jumping over buildings, and threatening to kick people in the crotch with your HUGE boot.
4. What one thing/event do you associate with me?
Cirque du Soleil. Or maybe New York. I can't go there without remembering our trips to Yaffa, the all you can eat sushi, visiting Anna, etc. Montreal too I guess. =)

Pretty well, although I'm sure you've grown a lot more recently, and we dont get to really hang out much.
