Jan. 31st, 2003 02:52 pmso far, today has included:
school frustration.
the psych class i'd been eyeing was cancelled.
i looked through the course offerings, and found another class that could do. i contacted the instructor with a question i had about the course description, and she wrote back that, despite information to the contrary on the site, the class is full.
ugh.
at this point, i'm limited to taking classes at UMB; it takes two weeks for the admissions department to approve a course from another college and classes everywhere are starting now.
and i'm not seeing anything else at UMB i'd consider taking *grumble*
i'm really not sure what i'm going to do.
but, my winter session class grade is in (P, duh) and i realized i under-counted my credits - i'm at 80 right now. unfortunately, 40 credits will still take a long time to do.
while my mom went out for a bit, i noticed a deer ducking under the balcony. i ran downstairs, grabbed the camera & went out the back door to take a picture.
after taking the picture, i realized about 5 or 6 of his friends were staring at me from the rise of our back yard.
i ran back in, got some bread, and came very close to hand-feeding some dear.
much to my amusement, they react favorably to meowing. and, with all luck, the pictures i took will come out well : )
my mom, of course, was less then thrilled at my adventure.
when debbie came home, her and two of her classmates swarmed over my laptop. talk about a sure way to make me on edge. but, i distracted them by telling them they can hook up the DVD player, and off they went. (yay). and they managed to get it hooked up, too : )
now, i'm making it through the last hours of work, after which i'll invade my mom's jacuzzi and take a dead sea salt bath. aww yeah.
