time seems to be crawling this weekend.

i ended up going to bed early last night, as all of my family had already done so by 11:30. i got a little school reading done and went to bed a little past midnight.

i was woken up by my mom around 11, as was the plan, but instead of having breakfast with me, she told me she's jogging late and will have breakfast with me at noon.

i was a little afraid of going back to sleep, as my massage appointment was at 1, and if she were any later then noon, i'd be running late.
i had the hardest time breaking out of the sleep stage. i had less then happy dreams overnight, and the half-dreams in the morning were even worse. i think i finally crawled out of bed around 11:30, popped online for a little bit, and then went to have breakfast and leave.

the massage itself was good. it felt much shorter then last time even though it wasn't - i think its because he spent a lot of time on my back at the very beginning. in any case, nothing to complain about.
before going in, i tried finding the dead can dance cd that got dropped under my passenger seat, and instead, realized that space was full of random stuff and trash spilled over from the passenger foot zone. instead of the cd, i found a bunch of bottle, a stuffed sheep and a can of lighter fluid before giving up. i'm definitely making a point of making new cd before my next appointment.
i also think i managed to do something i didn't think possible before - i had an anxiety attack while on the massage table. it wasn't a very bad one, and once i realized that that's where i was, i managed to change my thought process around pretty quickly. it made me remember that i have more of those once my metabolism kicks up in the spring *grumble*
but, speaking of spring, my mom and grandma both told me i look like i lost weight, which is definitely a good thing. the masseuse told me i need to exercise more, and i definitely need to follow his advice.

after the massage, i headed down to my grandparents' house. drove up to their apartment complex, parked my car next to the dumpsters and started chucking the trash from the passenger side floor into it. i realized later i forgot to look for the dead can dance cd while i was at it, but it should be much easier to find now.

time with grandparents was good.
my grandma's feet are all bandaged up, and she's now, stupidly, upset about the surgery. despite her (irrational) hopes to the contrary, the surgeon told her she should not wear heels if she's going to be walking around a lot. apparently, that was one of her bigger motivations *shakes head*
but the good news is that my grandfather is standing straighter, and despite lighter grey hair, looks younger then he did a month and a half ago.

i ended up staying there till around 5 and then came back here. and just sat around for a couple of hours. next, we're going to my stepdad's sister's house, which isn't anything i'm looking forward to, and when we get back, i'll feel even more restless and bored.
in theory, i should do school reading. in practice, i want to go out. but, i don't want to drive into the city and that kills just about all of my options.

oh, and abi is really cool. she's all grown up now and i absolutely melt at the way she accepts me as part of the family.
yesterday afternoon, she let me be with her before her nap.
later on, debbie got her upset, and i went upstairs to play with her to distract her. and the first thing she did is she pulled out a stuffed puppy i got for her a few months ago, lifted it up and said 'you got me this' *swoon*

and i'm being chased offline again.
