so when i got my insurance paperwork, the amount to be paid was about $500 more then what i was told it would be.
i called to check up on that today, it seems that the RMV isn't realizing that i've been driving for more then 6 years. a part of it is because they seem to think that before i had an MA license, i had a RI license. i'm really curious to find out what kind of crack they're smoking, and when they'll come down enough to adjust my insurance rate (the current estimate is a week, which means that the first inflated payment will have already been taken out. i wouldn't mind so much if the timing didn't suck so hard)
on the good news front, i handed in my paper in class, and one of the weights has been lifted. its probably going to be the first one he reads, as i think i was the only one to hand one in w/o taking the extension, so hopefully he'll go easy on me.
after class and a house meeting, i went to ceremony, which was a decent and surreal time until my stomach started acting up a bit. but, i am really glad i went and did enjoy the greater part of my time there.
driving home taught me two things - exactly what snow tires do (the car was a sled on an inch of snow, where as before, it took at least 4-5 inches to make it slide around that much) and that i can parallel park without being able to see out of my rear window.
and i'm doing my best to concentrate on the good stuff.
yeah.
