dilemma

so, the original plan for this weekend was to go to montreal, but i felt no pull to go there...

i came up with a substitute plan - a cabin in the berkshires, but that just fell through.

i'm still feeling iffy about montreal.

does anyone have any suggestions for someplace is 1 - 3 hours away, is uber cheap and has electricity?

also, its going to be raining on and off this weekend, and no electricity = tent, which isn't very pleasant when its raining.

i wanted to go to canada too, this weekend, but that fell through... decided on cape cod instead... the ocean is the best way to fight the rain :-)

heh, despite the rain, it does look like it might be warm enough for a dip... with all luck, though, new england will remain insane and give us all really nice weather : )

for some reason, i'm leaning more towards woods then beach/cape towns for this weekend.

ksp is a giant camping trip, where russians go to pitch tents, drink vodka, eat shashliki and sing "bardovskie" pesni for a whole weekend straight. i've been going for years (it's a twice a year event), and it's the best time a weekend can offer... (there are usually thousands of people, conveniently spaced out in a forest... ages vary, everyone goes, young old...) it's difficult to explain, you could call it a sort of... orgy :-)

i might be interested if you'd take a "bad russian" - i came over when i was 10, and don't have anyone to converse with regularly, so my vocabulary is that of a well-read 10 year old at best.
i went through most of my time in the states being weary of other russian people, but as i see myself losing the language, i'm starting to come out of that.

how many people are you going with?
