so i did a search on my full (real) name on google.com...
and it came up with a website of this one guy i used to know online...
i actually met him in london, but have really slacked off on communication since then...
nothing bad about the guy, just that i've been really bad about email... never got around to it...
and the same page that has my full name has my velvet email addy...
and a search for that comes up with both chris' link to my old site, and this here journal.
and damnit, i'd really like that little bug fixed.
only it'd be really lousy of me to email him with 'take my name off your page' as the first contact in over a year : /
*grumble*
and the funny thing is i don't even know where he found my last name in the first place!
unless he saw it on my plane tickets... i don't even know...
oh. shit.

my friend kristine had it on her mass mailings before i asked her not to : /
just shows you can never be careful enough...

and she's just yet another person i really haven't kept in touch with as well as i should.. : /

Nothing like a good ol' Ego Search to get the brain cranking...

Your high school graduation roster is in there, too, isn't it? But your name is spelled differently... did you change it? Search for just your last name and it'll come up...

it was actually more of a paranoia search - chris was telling me about how he didn't get hired cuz the employers-to-be found his website, and content there that they didn't like...
and yeah, i know that damn roster is there... i have changed my first name since then to get rid of the fuct spelling the IRS gave me during immigration... although.. theirs was still closer then what the school system gave me so that i would 'fit in' better...
