this much was implied in my post last night, but my costume-making skills are a flop.
the downside is that in order for the costume to work, there's one final bit that must come out right. and, i still need to find wings.

after the flop, i went out to the club and had a fairly decent time there - it was nice to be out, to be there, and to have a beer. it was nice to see people that aren't one of the 6 people i see on a weekly basis.

unfortunately, because i spent most of the evening getting the costume supplies and then using them, i didn't get much cleaning done.

i'm feeling frustrated, annoyed, vulnerable, hurt and sick of it all.
i'm premenstrual and any ability to deal is significantly impaired.

remember -- it's a party. moreover -- it's YOUR party. you'll be a triumph even without a costume. ESPECIALLY without a costume, i am sure! ;-)
some yoga excersizes might help... i just did some to anti-stress from work...

There is a party store over by my place that keeps their costume stuff all year but has it in storage. You could probably get wings there !!

I have a funeral to go to saturday morning. I think my husband is going to babysit so I can come to your party.

I'm headed to a store tomorrow to pick up a hat for Tyson (and probably something for me). I call & they have wings - blue with feathers. For only $25. The guy said they were quite nice. I could pick them up for you & then drop them off before going to MR. (We'll be hitting there early & then over to your house...at least I think that's the plan!?!?)

Or if you want to head over there yourself (hours are 10 am to 7 pm) they're located right on Moody St near Tom Can Cook (where we ate.)
