progress report

after getting a late start (3:30ish), i'm halfway through the play, but have an idea of the specific topic of the paper / basic outline worked out.
for some reason, i'm insanely sleepy.
i took a shower, keep drinking water and slapping myself, but none of it is really helping. next might be a walk to a convenience store to get a sobe (caffiene and taurine!) but if i don't feel more awake soon, i don't see myself being able to finish the paper tonight, because while i can be dozy while reading, i need to be wide awake to write 5 pages worth of coherent sentences.
