packing hell

there's a part of me that says that its good to have the things that i want with me, but i hatehatehate overpacking, and i feel like i'm majorly failing right now.
(bold stuff is stuff i'm set on taking)
* black silky skirt
* purpe mesh skirt
* purple sarong
* silver top
* a bunch of socks
* velvet casuit - i know it sucks as far as bathroom usage and might get damaged, but its comfort clothing for me.
* velvet skirt - for night, to wear over warm tights
* velvety turtleneck - its really warm
* black crochet sweater - its hole-y, but should be good for layering
* leather pants
* cute red nightie/dress
* loose mesh pants
* mesh shirt - should be good for layering
* silver silk pants
* leather bratop
* green bratop
* cotton long sleeved shirt - should be good for layering
* big purple sweater
* body-fitting white and purple sweater
* black sweatpants
* black spandex pants (+socks = tights)
* black&red feetless tights - they're warm
* tyedye sarong
* black tank top with tassles
* plain black tank top

i also haven't packed yet but want to take:
* my ripped up jeans - to retire them in style
* white princess dress
* pleather trench

i'd really love to hear whether you think i'm overpacking, what items would be harmless to cut, etc...

Keep the dust in mind. It will get into evreything : ) - so, don't bring stuff that you may find yourself wanting to be able to wear (dust-free) in fairly short order after coming back, i think.

(yes, i know, still awake - i have issues, but now i'm going to sleep for real, since i have to be up in 6 hours or so)

If you want things to remain at all dust-free for a little while, pack every change of clothes in individual Ziploc freezer bags. You'd probably benefit from having at least one change of clothes packed that way, so that on the day you leave BRC, you'll have clean stuff to wear for the drive back.

sounds like the image you're going for is arabian princess of the desert... :-) i love the bra-tops, and sarongs. don't forget anti-sun stroke things like hats, though...
