its not that its been a while since i've written, more like a while since i've bothered to post it instead of scrapping it.

Wednesday night was sushi with sol3 and an SB. we went to bluefin, and had good mediocre sushi, which is a good thing with bluefin's prices. from there, we wandered to the lizard lounge for some drinks and dessert - a good evening with interesting conversation.

Thursday evening i got home to find blondeamazon on my steps. we went off to the supermarket, picked up dinner stuffs, came back and threw together a three course meal for ourselves and spud. it was great to spend time with them, great to have such a good excuse to cook, and boy was the dessert yummy : )
as i was trying to motivate myself to clean and pack for the weekend, gaelen came home, and we shot the shit for a bit. then, i realized it was almost midnight, quickly washed the remaining dishes and went to sol3's house to pick up post-BM clothing. not completely surprisingly, i never made it back home, which left me a little underpacked for the weekend, but c'est la vie.

Friday after work, i ran to the maul to pick up my school books for the weekend. to my surprise, the new books at b. dalton cost less then the used books at the school store - i'm going to go back there for the other 7 books i'll need to get.
then i grabbed goat at quincy adams, drove back here, and iarwain drove to the farm.
camping was nice and mellow. drank on the evenings, read about half of what i needed to Saturday afternoon, spent time chilling around people, was happy to see sol3 join on Saturday night and drink some sake with me.
Sunday, we woke up late, took a long time to start packing up, and got home a bit later then we planned to, which meant that i didn't get as much reading done as i'd planned to.

because of this, and lack of yoga buddies, i'm thinking i'm going to skip yoga tonight and spend the time doing homework.

and, it looks like my promotion is kinda kicking into gear - i'm cleaning out my cube today; prolly moving upstairs tomorrow.

a chocolate mousse cake from trader joes.
not home made, but damn yummy, and probably cheaper prebought then making it would have been.
