elvendolli went to bed "early" (around midnight) last night, and still couldn't get up this morning.
i'd left the house before 8:30, got to have some laid-back time at work before going to see RoTK, and then really enjoyed the movie.
I hadn't thought my plan through, though, because the movie let out after 6, which didn't leave me with enough time to both shop and go to yoga... and shopping is a higher priority right now : /
between traffic and not taking the best way there (and stopping to get something with calories), i didn't even make it to the first store until 7:40.
overall, the trip was semi-successful. i got one gift and all the wrapping shutffs, but have a bunch of shopping to do. because i had today's timing all confused and Saturday will be tight, i guess i have to see if i can do it tomorrow. oy.

tobi's for a bit - although i think i forgot the dish i was going to use for my pot luck contribution there.
and after that, i came home to veg for an hour and a half before going to bed.
somehow, the cat didn't hear me coming home when i did...
after checking all the rooms for her, i went downstairs to meow for her before going to bed, and got a very wet and loud kitty for my efforts.
i was too tired to not be a little annoyed, and didn't feel like getting my hands in wet catfur, so i petted her just a little and went to bed. she climbed on the bed with me, and, for the first time in forever, headbutted my arm so that i would pet her. and after i did, and put my arm down, she made sure to be touching it while cleaning herself off. for a while, she had one of her front paws on me, and i was surprised by how hot it was - i like hot things, but her paw was radiating so much heat it almost hurt!
