weekend recap

elvendollit's been a very mellow one.
Friday night i stayed home, watched too much tv, read a little and chatted a bit.
Saturday morning, my alarm started ringing at 9,i got up a bit after 10 and by 11:40 was en route to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tobi's grandmother's service.
from there, we went to her parents' new house; it was a little weird, astobi, network, hawver and i were obviously the 'kids', but i don't feel like much of a kid anymore.
eventually,hawver and i made it into town, had dinner at my neighborhood pub, and from there i headed over to sol3's to be an early arrival for the festivities.
i had a weird time at the gathering. i kept feeling like i just couldn't get into the social groove, and a couple of the good conversations i got into were ended by distraction. the night ended up lasting much longer then i expected, and i slept in until 1:30 today, and spent a good time lazying in bed before becoming even somewhat functional.
now, it'll be time to sleep soon, and then it'll be another week. i can't wait to go on vacation the week after this one!
