it seems that whenever i go away for a week, little girl takes a day to get over having been abandoned and be nice to me.
yesterday, she came in from the outside and went somewhere (prolly gaelen's room) not to be seen again - and never showed up in my room overnight.
today, she's been at least twice as cuddly as she gets on normal days, including rolling over once for me to pet her belly - and in the process of doing that, smacked her ass down on the laptop.
later, autumnsshadow saw a centipede in his room, and i started calling the cat so she'd eat the bug. now, the bug went into the closet, but, much to my surprise, the cat actually came over to me, which is rather unusual for when i call for her while in her line of sight.

it's hard to believe she's 5 already...
i think i met her shortly before she turned one, and i can see her having gotten older. it's sad to think that at some point, she'll go from being little girl to old girl
