Oct. 8th, 2004 10:05 amI've screened comments on this post, so if you comment on it, your comment won't be seen by other people. If you're one of the first 20 or so people to comment on this post and ask for it, I'll come up with a line or two about you and put it in a followup comment to yours. So, if I understand how screened comments work, I'll still wind up with a nameless list of person-comments, but everybody will know which comment is directed to *them*.
Once I get 20 or so people (if I do get 20 or so people), I'll edit this original post to let you all know that the offer's closed.

Date: 2004-10-08 10:39 am (UTC)i can't stop myself from quoting that!
there was a time in my life when, when asked who my hero was, i gave your name. and it isn't that i think you're any less great now - it's that before, i saw the starting and ending places of the leaps and bounds you were making, and it left me in awe. now, you make leaps and bounds with endpoints that i just can't see - i just watch you leap, tighten inside from anticipation, and watch to be (pleasantly) surprised by where you land, barely able to comprehend the distance you cover in mid-air.
and i hate watching from so far away. i miss you so much, and can't wait until we solve the damn distance issue.
