work's a bit hairy. less in the being overworked, and more in the feeling out of my water, borderline on feeling like i'm sinking.
school. ugh. didn't get necessary group-writing done, but at least i wasn't the only one. i am at a point with the research where i'm almost ready to write - which is daunting in and of itself because i tend to a really long time writing when i need to find/pull quotes from multiple sources. and then i need to pick a topic for the 10 page research paper, as well as refocus on sociology to do one more session and be ready for the midterm. ugh.
everything else?
socially, i feel under-socialized but still okay. boys make me happy. in fact, if it wasn't for three specific boys, i might be feeling much less sane right now then i am. yay boys!
i'm insanely behind on anything chore related, from simple things like sorting snail mail to expected things like laundry and more crucial things like picking up a microwave.
oh, and again, the rule of thumb on email - if i don't respond to it in the first half hour i see it, there's a 50% chance i will respond within a week. if i have not responded within a week, there's a 50% chance i will respond within a month. and it just keeps going. and it's totally not personal, and the more important an email is, the less likely i am to respond, because odds are, i'm not finding the time to give a response the amount of time/focus it needs.
my finances are somewhere hellish. the good news is that i'll be able to put the planned amount into saving for the past two months. the bad news is that this leaves with about $100 i can pull out of my bank account from now until the beginning of December. which means it's a good thing that all my shopping trips were thwarted. oh, and don't get me started on how much i hate paypal.
