Jan. 25th, 2005 03:58 pmnot going into the office yesterday was a welcome change of pace, if it can be called that considering i worked a 4 day week last week and the holidays weren't so long ago.
right now, i'm on an upswing of what's been days of rollercoaster moods - i'm feeling more awake then usual, am in a pleasant mood and my head is full of great memories from these past two weekends. while work is awkward and school (or lack of studying, really) is very anxiety-inducing, i've been getting spoiled in most other ways.
i'm totally excited about upcoming travel plans. one month from today,
sol3 and i will be landing in paris! in two months, the tall boy and i are going to find a way to see each other, and after that, it'll be spring (spring!)
partially because i didn't have to shovel at all, i rather enjoyed this blizzard, and almost wish i'd gotten a chance to drive around more, because i kinda enjoy four wheeled sledding.
and speaking of sledding, i'd love to do some. but, i have no clue when, as i'm supposed to be out of town this weekend and going sledding at night sounds like a less then bright idea. hrmph.
tonight, i start a PMP certification class. i'm kinda looking forward to it, and i'm kinda wary of falling asleep in class - it's almost guaranteed to happen, not matter how much i'll try not to : /
i was a good kid and made it to yoga this Saturday. it wasn't my usual instructor, and i had to take child's pose a couple of times because my legs couldn't hold lunges for as long as he was getting us to. it also seemed like we spent less time on the upper body, just because mine isn't sore. it'll almost feel weird going to class tomorrow without being sore from the previous one.
and, a question for the masses (local ones, at least, and no pun intended) - what have you been hearing about snow in the next few days? i've heard snow Wednesday, snow Thursday, snow Sunday and even snow tonight - all from different places and in different amounts. what have you heard?
