Housing help?
Jun. 15th, 2005 03:52 pmAs you may or may not have heard, I'm moving to the Bay Area in September.
It seems very likely that I will continue working for my current employer once I move, but I do have enough saved up to last me till January even if I don't, and the first thing I'm looking for is a temporary place to live while I finalize my job options and get figure out my way around the new-to-me city.
I would prefer to be in San Francisco proper or the Berkeley/Oakland area, and will be happy with a room of any size, as this will be a temporary arrangement.
If you'd like to forward this around (and really, please do!), here's the quick blurb:
I'm a 26 year old neat and open-minded female looking for a sublet from September to January. I don't smoke, don't eat most meat but don't mind if others do, and prefer living in a moderately social environment. I love pets (my cat will be joining me once I move to a more permanent living arrangement), I'm a little bit of a geek, starting to become a burner, enjoy cooking, practice yoga; I take online classes to finish my BA from Umass Boston, majoring in English and minoring in Psychology. I'm working as a Project Manager right now, and will either stick to that or go back to Tech Support if need be. Please email elf @ dramaticirony.com to get in touch.

There are plenty of sublets for the summer - i've only found a couple for the fall though : (
I'm going to keep checking, but finding something sooner then later is definately ideal.
Keep in touch!
I'm sure I'll see you around after I move - I do remember who you are : )
