Sep. 20th, 2005 09:20 pmi seem to be settling in more.
when was the last time i updated? a week ago?
i think i was just barely making it through most of the week - not being unpacked was hard for me.
thursday was a good day - during the lunch hour, i drove into the city, picked up k. and we went to a coffee shop to work side by side. after that, we wandered into golden gate park for a little bit. eventually, we picked up b, i dropped them off in berkeley and met up with
sol3 for an amazingly yummy indian meal and retired to his place to watch dark angel - aside from a couple of minor things, it was a perfect day.
I definately want to do the driving to the city at lunch again - being right there after work made the day seem much longer.
friday was pretty mellow, and (huge) thanks to
sol3, i ended the day with shelves in my closet and a three-drawered nightstand. on saturday,
sol3 and i drove into the city, had our own brunch and then joined
quinnclub for his, and spent the rest of the day wandering around. we saw david best's temple, wandered to the civic center and union square, where we found the half-price ticket booth. unable to resist this, we got tickets to see Dangerous, found a place to eat, and then saw the show - another near perfect day.
on sunday, we went to
cuthalion's for the best waffles ever and some great company to boot, and from there, to
amber_phoenix and
longueur's for more excellent food and company. yum.
yesterday, i went food shopping and made a spinach salad that was just what i needed - after eating it, i felt all kinds of better, made some headway in unpacking and headed out to grab a beer with z. we ended up at an irish pub, drank guiness and watched people dance while catching up. good stuff.
today, i went out and bought even more food, and made my first hot meal since moving here. closer to home every day, right?
