One of the things I'm looking forward to about coachella is getting to see a bunch of bands I probably wouldn't otherwise. With that in mind, who would you recommend from the lineup

The ones that jump out at me right away are Sigur Rose, Head Automatica and Imogen Heap. A lot of the other bands I'm either not at all excited by or haven't heard of.

I'd certainly be curious to know what the current-lineup Massive Attack would be like live, but that's far from a sure bet.

Otherwise, I'd make a point of seeing: Kanye West, Common, Tool, Sleater-Kinney (!!!) and maybe Paul Oakenfold.

Matisyahu is...interesting, but for me personally the joke wore thin a while ago. YMMV.

The Rakes, Bloc Party and Editors all make good records and are kind of similar. Bloc Party's probably my favorite.

Minus The Bear have grown on me a lot (from "that's pretty good" to "that's really good"), but the lyrics are key, so maybe not a concert band?

Mates Of State are great.

TV On The Radio are hypnotic.

Wolf Parade make me happy.
